Come spend a cozy, creative session learning how to make your very own hand-bound mini booklet from start to finish. You’ll learn the basics of folding, perforating, and stitching pages together with colorful embroidery thread, then design a one-of-a-kind cover using fabric scraps and simple sashiko-inspired hand-stitching. Along the way, our instructor will share a peek into the history and traditions behind bookbinding and sashiko, connecting you to centuries of craft while you create something personal and modern. This workshop is open to everyone—no experience needed, just curiosity and the joy of making with your hands. You’ll leave with a finished booklet and the know-how to keep experimenting on your own. |
