Best of San Diego Nomination

Firstly, Material Happiness has been nominated in TWO categories in San Diego Magazine's Best of San Diego contest.... Best Fabric Store and Best Craft/Hobby Store. This was a surprise to me, but it was so cool to find out - it means that folks like what we're doing, and I'm all for that! It makes my heart happy.

If you're so inclined, go and vote. I'll give you the links. Once there you'll need to register. This helps assure that folks only vote one time. I have several neighbors here in the Barrio who have been nominated as well. Cielo Nublado Jewelry, Libelula Bookstore, Fonda Del Barrio yummy Mexican food just next door, and more.

New Japanese Fabrics 

Three boxes will ship out in the next day or so! I need your help to make room, so... all novelty Japanese prints in the store are marked down 30% (and a few other things as well). Starting on Sunday(3/1) the sale will be available in the online shop as well. Come stock up on all those cuties you've had your eye on.

Classes

I know an email went out last week with the new March schedule - but I wanted to point out that we have a few new-to-us instructors on the roster. Head on over and check out the details. Hang out on the patio, make some new friends, and learn new skills.
